The different types correctors

🤎 The 3-in-1 anti-dark circle treatment corrector

The concealer is available in 6 shades : Ivory, Pink Beige, Nude, Sand, Golden Beige and Hazelnut. This will help conceal dark circles by highlighting the eyes and correcting the complexion. For application on dark circles and to brighten the eyes, we recommend choosing a shade lighter than your skin tone .

Easy to apply thanks to its integrated applicator , the Charlotte Bio concealer will also correct imperfections locally . It is important to choose a shade that matches your skin tone for the most natural look possible.

💚 The green corrector

The green corrector corrects redness locally. How does it work? The green color of the corrector works against the red, camouflaging minor redness in a single application.

If you want to cover up a blemish , use the green concealer first, then apply the concealer in your skin tone .

Prepare your skin before applying concealer

1. Clean your skin well

Before applying make-up, it's essential to cleanse your face to ensure your skin is clean. This is a crucial step, and will make your makeup application much easier!

We recommend washing your face with our cleansing jelly. 💦

2. Apply a face cream

Once your skin is clean, it's time to moisturize. To nourish your skin, we recommendusing a moisturizing cream. Applying a moisturizing cream will make the make-up step much easier

#3 Apply a foundation

Charlotte's team advises you touse a foundation if you have combination to oily skin. Applied after your moisturizer, it blurs small imperfections and evens out the complexion. A small dab is all you need to fix your make-up all day long! 👌🏽

Which applicator to choose for concealer?

Thanks to its integrated brush, you can apply the concealer directly to the areas to be concealed: dark circles, redness and imperfections.

You can then blend the material with:

A sponge or beauty blender

Ideal for a natural look, the beauty blender will camouflage imperfections and dark circles to perfection!

It's important to clean your sponge regularly to prevent small imperfections from appearing without warning!

The fingers

This is the best way if you're not comfortable using a brush or sponge. However, it's not the most practical. Your fingers will be covered in concealer...

But if you're more comfortable with this technique, we recommend applying concealer or corrector to the desired area first, then tapping with your fingers to blend the texture.

Apply your anti-dark circle and anti-redness concealer:

How do I use and apply my concealer?

Apply the green corrector locally to your small facial redness, then apply your BB cream or CC cream

For the concealer step, take your concealer and apply it from the inner corner to the outer corner of your eye. Then, move down to create a triangle below your eye. Blend with a beauty blender.

Abracadabra, your dark circles will be camouflaged and this area of the face will be illuminated! ✨

Our pro tips for a flawless complexion

It is necessary to select the right concealer color . Always go for a shade lighter than your skin tone to brighten the tired area under your eyes.

To facilitate the application of your concealer, don't underestimate hydration! A moisturized eye contour will reduce the appearance of dark circles and allow the texture of your concealer to blend in. To avoid a mask effect, be careful not to apply too much texture. It may not look natural.

Any questions on how to apply the corrector?

For a perfect complexion, we recommend applying your concealer AFTER applying your BB Cream or CC Cream. To mattify your complexion , then use Charlotte Bio mattifying powder .

Applying concealer will only correct the areas you want to camouflage . It is not intended to even out your skin tone.

To fix the concealer all night long, we recommendapplying a mattifying powder to set your make-up. For longer wear, you can also opt for a foundation to be applied after your day cream to matify the complexion and fix your makeup.

Be careful, it's not the same use !

A concealer will correct imperfections while a highlighter will illuminate certain areas of the face to highlight them . By applying concealer instead of highlighter, you will not have a glowy complexion as desired! 🙅🏻‍♀️

For a natural effect , make sure to pick up a small amount of texture . Then, blend effectively so that the concealer blends perfectly into your skin.

Your eyes are wide open!

Charlotte Bio's concealer covers all kinds of imperfections. If you have acne, it's very effective . We also recommend applying the green concealer beforehand to neutralize redness and then more easily cover up spots.

La Charlotte Bio foundation complexion base is also a great solution for combination to oily skin, as it blurs small imperfections upstream. Apply just after your day cream!

To fix your eyeshadow, it's perfectly possible to apply a little Charlotte Bio concealer to your eyelids to make it easier to apply the shadows and fix the make-up.
