Choosing the right mascara for your eye color
Contrary to popular belief, it's not necessarily advisable to match the color of your mascara to the color of your eyes.
Instead, choose your mascara according to the effect you want to give your eyes. Don't hesitate to opt for different colors to enhance your eyes!

Choose your mascara according to lash type
I have short eyelashes
If you have short lashes, don 't panic! Choose a mascara with a long, straight or round brush. The former lengthens lashes in just a few strokes. The intense look is yours! As for the second, it enlarges your eyes while maintaining a natural effect. Depending on your desired effect, our precision mascaraor our density-volume mascara will be perfect.
I have long eyelashes
Lucky you! You can use all types of mascara. Your choice will depend above all on how you want your lashes to look. Volume and curl? Choose a mascara with a half-moon brush and silicone bristles. For density and thick, full lashes, opt for a round brush with natural bristles. Looking for precision and infinitely long lashes? A straight brush will stretch your lashes perfectly, one by one, to avoid clumping and create an intense fringe of lashes. As you can see, our 3 mascaras are perfect for your lashes. Choose your favorite according to the effect you want to give your eyes ;)
Choose your mascara according to your needs
Volumizing my lashes
If you're looking for XXL volume, opt for a mascara with a curved brush. It provides intense volume by filling them out one by one. Doe eyes guaranteed! Natural or silicone bristles, the choice is yours. Silicone bristles deliver more precise, high-quality results, while natural bristles provide fuller lashes. The half-moon-shaped brush extends lashes beyond their natural length. Your gaze is deployed and your lashes look more curved and elongated.
You also need to choose the right texture. Choose a light texture that doesn't clump, doesn't leave marks on the eyelid, is easy to apply and provides immediate volume. Our perfect curl mascara mascara is perfect for a 3D effect. After years of research, our innovative brush will curl your lashes and give them breathtaking volume in a single stroke. This mascara ensures optimum comfort for your eyes, with a texture that won 't run or dry them out. Long-lasting hold guaranteed!
Curling my lashes
For an XXL effect, remember to use an eyelash curler before applying make-up.
Curling your lashes is sometimes the most complicated effect to give your eyes. No choice: you need a curved brush that perfectly matches the shape of your eyes and deposits mascara on all your lashes, even those at the tips. The half-moon brush fills out and multiplies lashes, producing an immediate effect. Opt for the soft silicone pins, which allow you to style and lengthen lashes in a high-quality, clump-free way.
For curled lashes, don't hesitate to choose our perfect curl mascara.
Lengthen my lashes
Note that lengthening lashes doesn't necessarily mean giving them volume! It's a question of keeping their natural density, but lengthening them to create an intense fringe of lashes. So opt for a round brush, which will subtly deposit the material on your lashes, one by one, to ensure a deep look. This type of brush is 2 in 1: it thickens lashes for a fuller look, and lengthens them for a more intense look. Lashes are multiplied and thickened.
The texture of your mascara is also important. Forget over-liquid textures, which can run and won't last all day on your lashes. Instead, opt for a light but mattifying texture that will effectively stretch your lashes to lengthen them.
The trick is to move back and forth over your lashes, stretching them one by one. Several strokes are required.
Separating my lashes
If you want to separate your lashes and create aprecise fringe, opt for along, straight brush. This type of brushseparates and stretches lashesfrom root to tip. It promises toenlarge and intensify the eyes injust a few strokes. This type of mascara wraps each lash, one by one, for the most precise results. This type of brush is ideal for the smallest lashes in the inner and outer corners of the eye. Also pay attention to thelatexture used, andopt for a texture that is sufficiently mattifying to hold effectively on each lash all day, without running. To multiplyyour lashes, turn to ourprecision mascara.
Pay attention to mascara formulation
View labels
To be sure of the correct composition of a mascara, simply pay attention to the labels and certifications that confirm the marketing advantages put forward by the brands. Ecocert and Cosmébio labels let you know that the majority of mascara ingredients are certified organic. The Vegan label certifies that the mascara contains no animal ingredients. Finally, the Cruelty Free label means that the mascara has not been tested on animals during its development.
100% ingredients of natural origin + 51% organic ingredients
Our mascaras are all made with 100% natural ingredients and 51% organic ingredients. Thanks to a complex of vegetable oils and waxes, our mascara is now as effective as conventional mascara, with the guarantee of a healthy formula that's good for you and good for the planet.
Gifted wax complex
Carnauba wax, derived from a Brazilian palm tree. It provides a light, non-sticky texture that guarantees long-lasting hold on lashes.
Japanese varnish bark wax, a natural stabilizing agent (replacing petrochemical-derived preservatives): it improves ingredients or formulation stability and conversation duration.
Beware of "100% natural
Beware of the claim "100% natural" or "ingredients of 100% natural origin", which can be used as a marketing argument. In fact, natural ingredients in a cosmetic formula are a real benefit to health and the planet, but there is no guarantee as to where they come from, how they are grown or how they are subsequently processed. For example: jojoba oil is a natural ingredient. However, without organic certification, this may mean that it is chemically treated and harvested in working conditions that do not respect workers, for example. In any case, if you're looking for a quality, ethical product that respects ecological and ethical values, turn to recognized labels and certifications that promise very demanding specifications on these various points.
Magic oil complex
Jojoba oil, which has a nourishing, protective, rebalancing and softening action. It has soothing, healing and protective properties.
Castor oil strengthens nails, hair and eyelashes. It's perfect for repairing and nourishing hair, and is reputed to promote hair growth.
Magnolia bark extract + barley extract
Magnolia bark extract, with antibacterial and antioxidant properties, to protect your eyes and lashes.
Barley extract, which has a soothing and anti-histaminic action (anti-allergic, against redness and itching).

Why turn to to organic mascara
Mascara is an essential part of any makeup routine. Applied every day, it's in constant contact with the eyes, so you need to be careful about the mascara you choose. At Charlotte Bio, we do our utmost to offer you mascaras that respect your eyes and the planet, and all made in France. Our mascaras are Ecocert and Cosmébio certified, organic labels recognized in the world of cosmetics. These labels respect technical charters that guarantee the absence of petrochemical components and endocrine disruptors.
When it comes to health, it's equally important to know what you're using and applying to your eyes on a daily basis. Conventional mascaras contain drying agents, chemical minerals and preservatives that are very close to the mucous membranes and can, in the long term, damage your eyes. Pay close attention to the tests carried out on the formula, before the product is put on the market. Our mascaras have undergone several tests to guarantee the highest quality and safety in use. For example, our 3 mascaras have been developed under dermatological and ophthalmological control. They are hypoallergenic, and contain only natural ingredients that are gentle on the eyes. What's more, the formula does not sting the eyes, which is rare in the organic world!
Want to go one step further and look for a mascara treatment? If you have dry, brittle lashes, some mascaras not only guarantee longer, fuller lashes, they also promise hydration and protection. Thanks to cosmetic innovations and the combination of different plant oil and wax complexes, as well as ingredients such as jojoba oil, castor oil and Carnauba wax, your lashes are moisturized all day long, protected and their growth encouraged. Taking care of your hair? Think about taking care of your eyelashes too ;).
